Black Leather Wassily Armchair by Marcel Breuer
A black leather and chrome armchair designed by Marcel Breuer in the 1920s when he was at the Bauhaus.
They are called Wassily chairs, named after his fellow professor Wassily Kandinsky, the abstract painter. Kandinsky so admired the chair during the design process that Breuer gave him the prototype.
The leather is thick, and in good condition, with just a few surface scuffs. The frame is sturdy, and the frame can always be tightened.
I believe that this chair is about 25 to 30 years old.
Delivery can be arranged to any part of the country. As a guide, delivery to London and most parts of the south of England would be £80. Collection is, of course, welcome.
