Amazing Coffee Table in Glass and Marble by Ronald Schmidt
A cleverly designed coffee table from the 1970s by Ronald Schmidt.
The table is very striking. It is consists of a very heavy column of Italian marble standing on the floor at a 45 degree angle with a thick 20 mm cantilevered oval glass top, held in place with a single chromed steel clip.
It is similar in design to the Zephyr table by J Wade Beam for Brueton.
The table is very heavy and therefore much more sturdy than it appears.
The piece is in very good condition, conducive to its age and use. There are surface scratches, but no chips to the edge of the glass. A slightest nick to the marble base.
Delivery can be arranged to any part of the country. As a guide, delivery to London and most parts of England would be £85. We use an experienced carrier that is well used to moving antique furniture with the appropriate care. Collection is, of course, welcome.
